 Val J. Laolagi graduated from Santa Clara University with degrees in Computer Science and Art. He has been in the High-Tech Industry fourteen years and has been an artist since the age of three. At least, that is what his mom tells him.
Val rekindled his artistic talent by drawing portraits and painting murals. He was then discovered by Savas Beatie LLC, Publisher of Historical Titles of Distinction."

Val's work includes original pencil art illustrations that capture many of the enduring moments written up in Playing with the Enemy. Val also provided an original portrait of Coach Bob Stoops in Marc Maxwell's University of Oklahoma Football and twenty-two fascinating watercolor paintings for Angela McCuaig's children's book manuscript My Brain Matter Really Matters!
