September 2007 - Penguin Group Buys Rights to Playing with the Enemy!
The SBTN Guys are proud to announce that New York publisher Penguin, the second largest English language trade publisher in the world, has purchased mass market and paper rights to Gary Moore's Playing with the Enemy: A Baseball Prodigy, a World at War, and a Field of Broken Dreams. Sports By The Numbers artist Val J. Laolagi also worked on the Playing with the Enemy book. His original pencil art illustrations captured many of the enduring moments written up in PWTE.

August 2007 - Inaugural Sports by the Numbers Title Released!
Boomer Sooner! The first book in our Sports by the Numbers#153; series is available. The authors of University of Oklahoma Football: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports, Daniel Brush, David Horne, and Marc Maxwell will attend book signing events as part of Sooner Day on August 3 in Norman, OK. May 2007 - Fall Debut of New Sports Series
Savas Beatie is excited to kick off the new sports history series Sports by the Numbers later this year. The first title, University of Oklahoma Football, will be released in time for the beginning of the college football season and OU Head Coach Bob Stoops will be writing the Foreword!
